Oliver James Associates are an ambitious and entrepreneurial Recruitment Consultancy with a $178+ million turnover operating out of 12 international offices. Established in 2002, we have grown organically and consistently over the past 19 years to become a renowned financial services search & selection organisation, with a current head count of circa 500 employees. We have recently opened 4 new offices and currently have a physical presence in Manchester, London, Dublin, Amsterdam, Brussels, Zurich, Milan, Frankfurt, New York, Charlotte, Hong Kong and Singapore. 2021 has been an incredible and record breaking year for us so far with 103 promotions and 118 new hires meaning even more planned expansion for 2021/22.


  • To develop and maintain a current candidate database through a proactive, planned sales approach to current and prospective candidates
  • Proactively promote Oliver James Associates to the candidate base through marketing and networking calls
  • Keeping up with current and anticipated demand of candidates with a clearly outlined skillset, maximising efficiency through the effective use of LinkedIn and internal databases
  • Ensuring all leads are acted on accordingly
  • Assist the Recruitment Consultants in mapping a candidate pool in response to client's hiring requirements
  • Screen, interview and assess candidates in line with company standards to ensure a thorough understanding of their job and career requirements
  • Proactively match candidates to client's requirements


  • Ideally you will have 6-24 months business to business sales experience, or will have worked as a recruiter with 6+months experience
  • You must be confident on the phone, able to build rapport quickly and establish long lasting relationships
  • You must demonstrate that you are ambitious, results driven, self-motivated and naturally competitive

Recruitment experience is essential however specific sector experience is not. It is important that you demonstrate commitment and a genuine desire to achieve.
